Antipasto Squares

Another family recipe that I like to make a couple times a year, mostly on Thanksgiving or Christmas- feel special that I am sharing! You will love it!

1/4 cup grated/shredded Parmesan Cheese

2 Packages Pillsbury Crescent Rolls*

(1) 1/4 lb. Deli Ham

(2) 1/4 lb. Provolone Cheese slices

(3) 1/4 lb. Genoa Salami sliced thin

(4) 1/4 lb. Swiss Cheese slices

(5) 1/4 lb. Sandwich Pepperoni

1 Small jar Roasted red Peppers (diced, chopped, or sliced)

3 Eggs, whisked

Preheat Oven to 350 degrees.

Open and unroll 1 package crescent rolls (do NOT separate rolls) in a 9x13x2 glass pan (you can also use the aluminum pans). Pinch any holes together with fingers.

Layer ingredients 1 thru 5 as listed above. Place roasted peppers on top, pour ½ of eggs on top of the peppers. Shake the pan to make sure egg gets evenly distributed.

Open second package of crescent rolls, lay on top (again, do NOT separate rolls) and pinch any holes with fingers. Take remaining egg and brush/pour on top of crescent layer. Cover with aluminum foil, bake in pre-heated oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Remove foil, sprinkle parmesan cheese on top, place back in oven for 15 minutes, until golden brown. Remove, let cool, slice into squares, meant to be eaten at room temperature or slightly warm.

*Pillsbury makes the crescent rolls in a "Recipe Creations" version- where it is one big sheet. If you can find them, that is ideal for this so you don't have to worry about dough separating.
